Some of Sam's Photobook Photos So Far

These are possible photos for the cardboard section, which will be the first section of the book. I am sorry I am so behind with everything, I've encountered many obstacles in realizing these photographs. It's been very frustrating for all of us, I'm sure.

Anyway:

YES, there are going to people in the photographs as well. The above photo is not what I have in mind but it was all I was able to capture for the moment. A lot of the visual elements and materials are experimental.
I would like to talk about the concept behind my wanting people to occupy the space and why those photographs are so different from the photos and details of the space. BUT the above photo, I know, does not get that across.
I am borrowing my friend's camera and will post a photo with persons, one that I'll be more happy with that ties into my concept better.
here are photos of the space:

These photos look great Sam. I am interested to hear how the people tie in, as I agree that the top one is not the strongest. I do like the idea of at least their faces being blurred so that we don't get lost in the portrait, but the complex space and activity.

What other sections do you have in mind?

I do not have your number, so I do not know how to contact you today.
Give me a ring.

Hi Sam
Good to see you're back
I like the photos a lot, specially the color combinations. I even think they would be just as good without the people in them.
I can't advise you not to panic, because I am worse in that aspect :D
but I can tell you that you're doing great
Keep going

The color combinations and placement of your objects are great. Are you still going to use different materials to cover the living space or just cardboard? Good luck with the rest of your project. I know it will turn out great. =)

Hi Sam,

I'm enjoying the wood, fabric, cardboard combination. The colors are so natural. The post-its are interesting also. My favorite is the one with the dogwood post-it. I'm finding it hard to imagine people in the images.

Good luck with all that work.

Hey Sam,

I just want to start off by saying that I'm thrilled that you turned the living space completely upside down with couch cusions on the floor, the base against the wall, etc. It looks absolutely crazy and it works! I hope the rest of the space creations are as lovely as these images (and I actually can dig people in the images, too)- so just keep working, Sam. It's getting down to the wire! XD
