Okay, So, I have way more done now. I'm not where I need to be, but I think I made good progress. I have a cover idea up as well as page 1, 2, and 3. I think I will make all my pictures vertical, so I will re-take my first brown picture. This week I am going to work toward having several images of each color. I will be retaking the black one tomorrow. As for layout I am thinking really simple. Any ideas in that department?

Uh so those are definitions. Does that count as plagiarism? I'll reword if so.
Anyone know?
I'll work on rewording incase no one knows.

I would make page one and the cover look different from eachother, and I would make the artist statement a little more personal. I really like the colors you used for your cover.

Jessica:
I like how you use the definition as it might appear in a dictionary but I am not sure about the cover. The way "Neutrals" is scattered might be a little too busy. See what others have to say. I really like all the images, I dig the ones where nothing is completely recognizable. The muffin pan in the cover throws me off, kind of metallic to be a neutral.

This is going to be great.
WHITE BALANCE! Your gray image looks more gold.
I think the Text is getting there--just maybe too big, and I vote for that to be the cover. Keep playing! You should make 10-20 of these, ya know, and then edit down.
I like the definition, pretty sure it isn't plagiarism, as it is common knowledge.
I'd rather see the first page one as the cover. Also, I'd suggest maybe combining pages two and three. I enjoy the concept, but some of the images are a bit cluttered, in my opinion.
Pick up your phone, nub. We're supposed to have crackers, tea, and font tonight.
Hi Jessica,
I like this idea. Will you be taking it outside as well, or will it all be still life inside? I have to agree with the others regarding having the cover be the NEUTRAL text image. The statement being the definition is a great idea. I'm looking forward to seeeing more.
Have a great weekend,
Karen
