Andrew's Sketch

I'm really having a hard time narrowing down my concept for the book.
These are two of my ideas:

Digital Erosion Urban Explosion
Pixilated Urban Landscapes
Zero Text
Landscape demensions
A simplistic visual comentary on Western Digital culture, Overpopulation and conservation.
A Stream
"Take want you want and leave the rest"
I recently started filling a note book with spontaneous thoughts and images. I want to take this stream of consciousness and describe it visually next to the text.
I'm interested in the hidden connections that people can extrapolate from the subconscious.
Each individual interpretation a separate art piece. The patterns that might occur a statement of the culture and thought process of the time.

It would really help to see the visual. Give us an example of each, and we could really tell you something.
I am partial to the first--but still just need to see it.

Hi Andrew,

I like the stream of consciousness idea best. I like the idea of getting in on someone’s random thoughts. It’s not something we are generally privy to. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Wishing you much inspiration!

Both sound amazing. I agree with Val. Give me some images. Both could be extraordinary. I am partial to the first, if I had to choose.

Andrew,

The stream sounds intersting, although some photo examples might be nice.

Andrew,

Personally, I like your ‘A Stream’ idea better. It seems to me like the piece would feel more personal. Would you lay out each picture with text on a separate page or many images on one page with text surrounding it? What do you want the readers of your book to gain after giving it a thorough look? I’m not opposed to your first idea either; I’m just more partial to the second one because I like connecting to an author. The first could be interesting if you do it well, but it seems a little more detached. Either way, you need to get us some visuals ASAP. I’m really curious to see how you would set this up. :)

I would be interested to veiw either of these peices. Based on my personal preference, I would likely enjoy "Digital Erosion Urban Explosion" more, but I will have to veiw some examples of each to make a final decision. My advice is to go with the idea that you are most passionate about, or take trial photos and go with the idea that produces the best results.
